"Black Friday," the day after Thanksgiving, marks the traditional start of the holiday shopping season. It's the day many retailers turn a profit for the year, or are "in the black." Two days later, "Cyber Monday" marks the start of the online shopping season. But despite all the media hype, Black Friday isn't the busiest shopping day of the year in terms of sales and traffic. That's most often the Saturday prior to Christmas.
