What's Happening at Lind-Waldock?

October 2005

A letter from our President about Refco, LLC.

Dear Individual Investor:

Lind-Waldock's core futures business is a part of the regulated futures brokerage entity, Refco, LLC. Refco, LLC continues operating in exchange-traded derivatives worldwide, and multiple entities have expressed an interest in participating in the process to acquire Refco, LLC in the near future.

RefcoPCG will continue to move forward in providing individual investors like you with the highest-level of service available in the futures industry. As required by law, customer funds in futures accounts at RefcoPCG are segregated. In addition, Refco, LLC remains in good standing as a clearing member at futures exchanges, including the CME, which issued a press release to that effect on October 13, 2005.

I invite you to start trading futures with Lind-Waldock, and I look forward to welcoming you as a client. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.

With best regards,

Mark B. Sachs
President
