The FORTUNE e-50 Index is a modified capitalization-weighted index that measures the performance of U.S.-traded securities in the Internet economy. The Index includes 50 companies selected from the following subsectors: e-companies, Internet communications companies, Internet hardware companies, and Internet software and services companies.
