I understand that all individual traders are at different experience levels and have various ways of approaching the markets. I assist traders of all abilities, including traders new to the futures markets and individuals of high net worth and many years of experience. Regardless of your trading background I strive to increase your overall trading skills. I believe money management is fundamentally the most important factor that determines success in the markets. Industry Background:
I am a registered Series 3 Associated Person and have worked with Lind-Waldock for my entire career in the futures industry.Market Focus:
Currencies (Eurocurrency, Dollar Index), Grains (Soybeans, Wheat), Energies (Crude Oil), Metals (Gold and Silver), Financials (S&P and Bonds)Technical Study Background:
I use a variety of technical studies to profile the markets. I rely heavily on: bar chart patterns, Bollinger Bands, Relative Strength Index, Moving Averages, Volume and Open Interest. I combine these technical studies along with other proprietary indicators to help define entry and exit points for both futures and option contracts.Advisory Background:
Larry Williams, Ken Roberts, "The Hightower Report" and Man Global Research (request a password by email).Trading Strategies:
I take a systematic approach to the markets. I wait for the markets to meet my prespecified parameters prior to initiating a position. I promote clearly defining profit objective levels and risk tolerance levels before participating in any market. Furthermore I encourage developing trading strategies that utilize both futures and option contracts. I believe using both futures and options conjunctively allows for greater flexibility in the markets.Analysis Preference:
I focus my attention primarily on the technical aspects of the market. Once a market has validated a prespecified technical level, I will look for fundamental information to confirm the technical indications.View articles by Ben Kim
