Steve Kauppi866-317-9477Email Steve The goal of any trader/investor is of course to increase capital. With that goal in mind, my job is to work with you, no matter what your level of experience, to develop appropriate risk-management techniques and strategies. As your broker, I will help you identify opportunities in the markets, including trade entry and exit points using technical analysis techniques. It’s vital to understand that even the very best traders will have losing trades; my goal for you is to cut losses quickly and let your winners ride for as long as possible. Experience/ Industry Background:
I started my career in 2002 with Fimat on the agriculture trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. I dealt primarily with the firm’s institutional clients, and I very quickly learned the importance of service and execution. In 2004, my main focus was the soybean market, a time when beans exploded to $10 a bushel, and then fell back to $5 about six months after the top. I later took a job with UBS securities, where I worked side-by-side with corn futures and option traders. On some days, we executed as many as 4,000-5,000 contracts. In 2006, I moved off the trading floor and began working with individual investors, joining Lind-Waldock in 2008.
