Industry Background:
I am a registered series 3 associated person and have worked with Lind Waldock for my entire career in the futures industry.Market Focus:
Energies, (Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Unleaded), Metals ( Gold, Silver, Copper), Grains and CurrenciesTechnical Study Background:
I use a variety of technical analysis depending on the time frame my clients are looking at being in the trade. For short term trades my preferred method is the MACD with the Relative Strength Index. For longer term and option trades I utilize support and resistance along with volume and open interest .Advisory Background:
Hightower, Helms, Vardon and Jim Rogers.Trading Strategies:
My philosophy is to never chase the markets and always have a set entry and exit point based on the fundamentals and technicals with a defined risk ratio of 3 to 1. I also take advantage of both long and short options combined with futures to help hedge risk.Analysis Preference:
I focus primarly on the technicals but I do use the fundamentals to confirm my technical indicators.View articles by Bob Haberkorn
